Digging up the roots of the „Bruehlmeier“ Family of Wettingen

Magg-Wappen
Walser-Wappen

By Arthur Bruehlmeier, Oberrohrdorf (Switzerland)
Published in 2001 in Oberrohrdorf
Translated by David Bruehlmeier, Düdingen (Switzerland)
Corrected by Darlene Gaitan, Gainsville (Texas, USA) and Emilie Zouhar, San Diego (California) (Part 5)

Remarks:

  • All remarks in pointed parenthesis [such as these] are explanatory notes from David Bruehlmeier and are not part of the original text by Arthur Bruehlmeier

  • The correct spelling of the family name Bruehlmeier is not with „ue“ but the „u“ with two dots over it (umlaut). Because this text is written for our American friends and it would not be sure that their computer can read this alphabetic character, we chose for this umlaut always the „ue“. The same for a and o with the two dots: ae and oe.

  • The abbreviation FT = Family tree

  • As the author of this report I am thanking very much to David Bruehlmeier for the translation and to Darlene Gaitan and Emilie Zouhar for the correction of my text.
